Test Results

blood_tests_4When you come for your blood test the Health Care Support Workers or Practice Nurses will explain the procedure about gaining your results. If your blood tests form part of your annual review then you will need to book into the relevant nurse led clinic where she will go through the results with you. If your blood tests have been requested by the GP you will need to book in with the GP who requested the tests after about a week to ensure that we get all of the relevant tests back. Can we suggest that this appointment with the GP is arranged once patients have had their blood tests and before they leave the surgery premises.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

You can ring for your results Monday to Friday between 2pm and 3pm or use the following link to ask the surgery about your blood tests online https://florey.accurx.com/p/M83627
